Calcium ammonium nitrate

Nitrogen fertiliser: ammonium nitrate granulated with ground dolomite, limestone or calcium carbonate, below 28 % N (LVIC-AAF BREF 2007, section 9.1). CAS 15245-12-2 (PubChem CID 3080697, checked 2026-11-05) names a calcium ammonium nitrate salt, not this physical mixture of AN and carbonate, so no CAS or InChIKey is given. No composition recorded: it depends on the grade; ammonium-nitrate-1 models about 27 % N.

ISO 14044 requires a critical review (by a panel of interested parties, ISO/TS 14071) of a comparative assertion intended to be disclosed to the public. These routes are listed side by side for screening; a statement that one is better than another needs that review. None of these routes has had such a review.
