Gas oil (straight-run)
Straight-run middle distillate boiling from about 240 to 360 degC (light and heavy gas oil), before hydrotreating, with organic sulfur and nitrogen; feed of gas oil hydrotreating and the diesel and heating oil pools. Composition and sulfur by crude (0.49 wt% S for the 230 to 375 degC cut of the Johan Sverdrup assay that refinery-distillation-1 uses). No composition recorded yet: one goes in only with its source (docs/registry.md, Fuel mixtures).

Routes compared
One route in the Atlas makes Gas oil (straight-run): nothing to compare yet. A comparison appears when a second route is added.
Per 1 kg of Gas oil (straight-run): inventory from each route's LCI dataset, unallocated; footprints per the functional unit of their own LCA.

ISO 14044 requires a critical review (by a panel of interested parties, ISO/TS 14071) of a comparative assertion intended to be disclosed to the public. These routes are listed side by side for screening; a statement that one is better than another needs that review. None of these routes has had such a review.
